Where we work.

Dover town, the cliff-top villages towards Deal, and the downland villages up the Nailbourne. Three distinct settlements - town, cliff, valley - and three different sets of maintenance problems.

Dover town (CT16, CT17)

The core round. Post-war rebuild through the town centre after the wartime damage, Victorian terraces above the harbour, and the Regency and early-Victorian belt along Marine Parade and Waterloo Crescent. Housing stock is mixed but the shared maintenance load is salt-humidity swelling on doors and frames, and salt-corroded fixings on any external elevation.

The cliff-top belt (CT15)

The exposed properties along the White Cliffs edge from Dover round to Deal. Highest coastal-exposure load in the round - easterlies straight off the Channel, salt-heavy air year-round, and the tallest running maintenance load on external fixings and exposed timber. A4 stainless as default. Salt-primer on any exposed elevation. Bigger between-tenancy punch-lists for the absentee-owner second homes.

The downland villages (CT16 outer, CT17 upper)

The Nailbourne chalk-stream valley and the rolling country north-west of the town. Sheltered from the direct easterly load, but still on chalk substrate - and the older stock has the same Georgian and Victorian issues without the salt component. Cleaner brief on most jobs.

Not sure if we cover you?

Our standard round runs about 12km from central Dover, which comfortably covers all of CT14, CT15, CT16 and CT17. Anything further inland (up towards Ashford or Canterbury) we’ll take on request but travel time will show in the quote. If you’re inside the ring above, we’re your local.
